[visionlist] luox: New open-access and open-source web platform for calculations related to light and lighting

I'm delighted to announce the release of the new luox platform (https://luox.app/).

luox facilitates calculations of physiologically relevant quantities related to light and lighting from user-supplied spectral power distributions in an easy-to-use web interface.

The platform is free to use, and underlying code is available under GPL.

The platform is described in a companion article in Wellcome Open Research (https://wellcomeopenresearch.org/articles/6-69/), which is currently undergoing peer review.

Development of luox was supposed by the Wellcome Trust (204686/Z/16/C), the Society of Light and Lighting (2020 Jean Heap Bursary), and the van Houten Fund of the University of Oxford (VH-148).
