[visionlist] Open Postdoc and PhD positions on Deep Federated Learning with Medical Imaging (Deadline: 20/06/2021)

Dear all, 

I have a few openings in my lab, and I would be more than happy if you could spread the word and share it with your colleagues who may have interests. 

The mission of Albarqouni lab <https://www.helmholtz.ai/themenmenue/our-research/research-groups/albarqouni-group/index.html> at Helmholtz AI <https://www.helmholtz.ai/>, Munich/DE, is to develop innovative deep Federated Learning algorithms that can distill and share the knowledge among AI agents in a robust and privacy-preserved fashion. Research topics include, but not limited to, i) handling distributed DL models with data heterogeneity including non i.i.d, and domain shifts, ii) developing explainability and quality control tools for distributed models, and iii) robustness to data and models poisoning attacks. In this context, we are looking for Postdoc and PhDs who have a strong background in Machine/Deep Learning to push our understanding of the influence of data heterogeneity and robustness against data and model poisoning attacks in Federated Learning. The candidates will be also contributing to interdisciplinary projects with other Helmholtz centers working with multidisciplinary team members.
