[visionlist] PhD position available in Paris

One Phd position is available at the Laboratoire des Systèmes Perceptifs 
(LSP) at the Department d'Etudes Cognitives of the Ecole Normale 
Supérieure (ENS), Paris, France.

The position is funded by the European Research Council to study the 
neural bases of short-term visual plasticity in adult humans using 
psychophysical and neuroimaging techniques.

The project will investigate the relationship between hebbian and 
homeostatic plasticity combining behavioural measurements of ocular 
dominance with EEG in adult healthy volunteers and potentially on 
clinical populations.

*PhD position*(fully funded for 3 years):

Required qualifications and skills:

- Masters degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or related field
- Experience in psychological experimentation
- Basic programming skills and/or high motivation to become proficient 
in Matlab and/or Python
- Strong analytical and statistical skills


Desired:
- Basic experience with cognitive neuroscience methods, e.g. 
psychophysics, eye tracking, EEG or similar.
