The Electronic Imaging Symposium 2022 (EI 2022) Journal-first submission option is for authors who wish to have their papers appear in either the peer-reviewed Journal of Imaging Science and Technology (JIST) or Journal of Perceptual Imaging (JPI) AND the EI conference proceedings.
Benefits of Journal-first Submissions:
The Journal-first submission option offers a path to faster journal publication for authors who commit to submitting papers for publication that need only minor revisions -- thereby enabling expedited journal review and presentation of the work at IS&T conferences.
