Two Endowed Faculty Positions in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa
The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences <https://psychology.uiowa.edu/> invites applications to fill two endowed positions: the Ketchel Family Chair and the Ronnie Ketchel Professorship. Successful applicants for these positions will have productive, visible, and well-funded research programs that exemplify an integrative approach to the study of behavior. Both positions are open to associate and full professors who use behavioral, cognitive, neurobiological, developmental, clinical, social, biobehavioral, and/or computational approaches to understanding learning and behavioral change in humans or non-human species. Review of applications will begin on September 27, 2021, and will continue on a rolling basis until both positions are filled. The first position will begin as early as August 2022 and the second will begin as early as August 2023.

There are extensive opportunities for collaboration with researchers in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Carver College of Medicine, the College of Engineering, the College of Education, and the College of Public Health. Departmental faculty have ongoing collaborations with colleagues in such departments as Neuroscience and Pharmacology, Psychiatry, Biology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Radiology, Computer Science, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Public Health, Otolaryngology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
