Job Announcement –Non-Tenure-Track Lecturer position in Psychological Science
The Department of Cognitive Science in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute invites applicants for a non-tenure track position in the Psychological Science program in Spring 2022.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in psychology or a closely related field at the time of appointment. Applicants should have a strong desire and commitment to teaching and student support primarily at the undergraduate level. Experience in undergraduate-level teaching is strongly preferred.
Teaching responsibilities for this position include offering three 4-credit courses that are part of the B.S. in Psychological Science program during the Spring 2022 semester: Introduction to Psychological Science (PSYC 1200), Research Methods and Statistics I (PSYC 2310), as well as a third course in an area to be determined or as needed by the Department. There is the possibility of teaching undergraduate courses in the Summer 2022 semester for additional compensation.
