Dear colleagues,

To those interested in visual attention: Visual Cognition has just published a series of commentaries on the topic of visual attentional capture, commenting on the recent paper by Luck, Gaspelin, Folk, Remington, & Theeuwes (2021), in which they propose how the decades-old debate on attentional control may be resolved.

The commentary series can be found here: https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/pvis20/current.
The original paper can be found here: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/13506285.2020.1848949

Not only interesting in terms of the individual contributions, but also as a snapshot of the current state of the field.

Best,

Chris Olivers
