[visionlist] Position for a Clinical Research Optometrist (contact lens research) at the University of Bradford

The School of Optometry and Vision Sciences at the University of Bradford are looking to recruit a Clinical Research Optometrist for contact lens research. This is offered initially as a 12-month fixed-term post, working in collaboration with academic staff, postgraduate students and industry partners to contribute to research activity in the department.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team based within the School of Optometry and Vision Sciences, and will be responsible for participant recruitment, and data collection for contact lens research projects. The role-holder will also contribute to data analysis and play a key part of developing ideas for future investigation. The role will offer experience in translational contact lens research, and will also provide professional development opportunities relevant to optometry and academia, with the possibility of international travel (subject to government guidance) for conference attendance and presentations, providing time for profile building and networking.
