Opportunities for Medical Image Perception research
As many of you know, before COVID, we had been running a Perception Lab at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) meeting in Chicago in November each year. That came to an end with COVID. Today, we want to gauge the community's interest in future possibilities.
If we can mount one of the following, which one of these would you be of most interest to you?
In all cases, assume that we would take care of the infrastructure and your admission to the meeting. You would need to get to the venue and bring the equipment that you needed. No need to respond if you aren't doing medical image perception research. Please email responses to Todd Horowitz todd.horowitz at nih.gov<mailto:todd.horowitz at nih.gov> and Jeremy Wolfe jwolfe at bwh.harvard.edu<mailto:jwolfe at bwh.harvard.edu>
The three options are

1) The European Congress of Radiology, Vienna, Austria, March 2-6, 2022. This is like RSNA but (obviously) in Europe.

2) A smaller, more specialized radiology meeting, probably something like Society for Breast Imaging. Fewer attendees. Possibly a higher concentration of the right observers. Later in 2022 when, we can hope, there are fewer viruses to deal with.

3) A pathology meeting since there is increasing interest in research in that space.
Remember, we can probably do one such project so make your preference clear.
Thanks
