*Description*

The Laboratory of Brain Processes (LOBES) at the Center for Neural Science
at New York University is seeking a postdoctoral associate to conduct
research on human retinotopic maps. The NEI-funded research project is a
collaboration between Professor Zhong-Lin Lu at New York University and
Professor Yalin Wang at Arizona State University. We have developed a
Beltrami coefficient-based retinotopic map quantification scheme and
validated it with the retinotopic data in early visual cortical areas from
the Human Connectome Project. The current project aims to further develop
novel geometry methods and construct hierarchical Bayesian models (HBM) of
retinotopic maps. The postdoctoral associate is expected to work with the
existing research teams at NYU and ASU.
