A Post-doctoral Research Associate position is available at the Centre for Optometry and Vision Sciences with Dr Julie-Anne Little<https://www.ulster.ac.uk/staff/ja-little> at Ulster University, UK.  The researcher will help deliver the outcomes in the Zimbabwe Eyecare and Learning (ZEAL) study as part of the ENGINE<https://daro.qub.ac.uk/Positive-impact-of-vision-correction> suite of projects.  This is a Wellcome Trust funded project in collaboration with Queen’s University and international partners.
The position involves opportunity to contribute to an exciting international study, and the post-holder will work with the research team and local partners to implement the study protocol, conduct data analysis and write up research findings. The researcher will be encouraged to produce high-quality scientific publications and contribute to the overall research performance of the Centre for Optometry and Vision Sciences (COVS) and develop their research career. (Fixed-term 0.6FTE ending February 2024).
