Dear colleagues,
Eye-tracking research in learning and education research is growing, not
just within a single community but across many. That's why we are organizing
a half-day virtual workshop on eye tracking in learning and education at
this year's ETRA conference June 08-11, 2022 (exact day tba) as a bridging
event for the research communities of all areas of psychology,
human-computer interaction, computer science, eye tracking methodology, and
other related fields.
We are quite happy that workshop keynote will be held by Halszka Jarodzka
(full professor and chair of the department "Online Learning and
Instruction" at the faculty of Educational Sciences at the Open
Universiteit, the Netherlands).
The workshop will consist of brief participant presentations and small-group
discussions centering around participant submissions. Interested
participants may submit any kind of scientific article such as work in
progress, initial study results, summary of previous studies, position
paper, opinion or argument as an extended abstract (1-4 pages; juried) or a
short paper (4-8 pages; peer-reviewed). Accepted short papers will be
published in full in ETRA's workshop proceedings. The workshop is associated
with the ETRA conference, but workshop participants do not need to attend
the conference.
