Multiple graduate student openings are available in the Laboratory for
AI-enabled Virtual and Augmented Reality Communications and Networked
Systems at NJIT. Self-motivated students with strong analytical skills and
BS/MS degrees in electrical and computer engineering, computer science, or
applied math are encouraged to apply.

The recruited applicants will work on cutting edge research in the areas
of mobile 6DOF VR/AR networked systems and synergies with computer vision,
machine learning and HCI, 5G edge computing and network architectures,
UAV-IoT sensing and networking, optical and millimeter wave mobile
wireless networking, domain-aware fast real-time reinforcement learning
(RL) and deep RL for communication systems and applications, and
multi-connectivity scalable 360-degree video streaming. We also explore
novel interdisciplinary applications to remote sensing, disaster relief,
environmental monitoring, and cyber-physical health care systems and
devices.

The doctoral positions are fully funded, inclusive of summer support. They
are sponsored by external federal and industry funding, and provide ample
opportunities for collaboration and career advancement.

To apply, please send a CV, a description of your research interests and
background, your course transcripts, and a list of three references. You
can include 2-3 representative publications. You can find a full
