The online spring meeting of the AVA will be taking place 22 April 2022. We will be running the conference virtually and it will also include the 2022 annual general meeting (AGM). Registration for the meeting is free to AVA members, while non-members are able to register at the price of a membership fee and thus also join the organisation should they wish to do so.

Keynote speaker: Professor Patricia Riddell, University of Reading: “When are two eyes better than one? Development of binocularity in infants”

We are prioritising doctoral and post-doctoral researchers for presentations.  In the afternoon we will have a session on careers in vision science with invited guests from academia and industry and a session on open science with Prof. Jon Peirce talking about his experience through the creation of PsychoPy.

Keynote speaker: Professor Patricia Riddell, University of Reading: “When are two eyes better than one? Development of binocularity in infants”

We will be running the conference virtually and it will also include the 2022 annual general meeting (AGM). Registration for the meeting is free to AVA members, while non-members are able to register at the price of a membership fee and thus also join the organisation should they wish to do so.

The deadline for abstract submission HAS BEEN EXTENDED until 28 March 2022. If you wish, you can choose to have your abstract published in iPerception for a small fee. You also need to register to receive the zoom links for the day.
