Dear all,
*ArC Seminar 23: This is emotional! Empathy and cinematic experience* will
be held on 18th of May 2022, from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm UK time. We will
discuss how cinematic language evolved to affect our emotions. We feel
emotional while watching movies, we empathize with movie characters, even
though we know they are fictional. What are the philosophical,
psychological and neural mechanisms underlying these effects?
