Balasubramanian Lab is seeking applicants with a Ph.D. in biology, biotechnology, bioengineering, neuroscience or an associated field with relevant experience in cell- and organ-culture techniques to understand 3D structural and functional changes in ocular hypertensive models.  The position will facilitate a successful postdoc to also participate and receive training in collecting volumetric structural SD-OCT images and functional electroretinography under ex vivo and in vitro culture conditions; in developing relevant biophysical ocular models; in developing relevant computer vision and deep learning techniques; and in research grant preparation.
