Dear distinguished AI scientist,

the AI Doctoral Academy (AIDA) https://www.i-aida.org/ has been organized by the 5 European Union’s Horizon2020 AI flagship projects, AI4Media, ELISE, HumanE AI NET, TAILOR, and VISION, aiming to become a reference initiative for AI education worldwide and in Europe and to implement mechanisms for inter-university sharing of AI educational assets at PhD-level. As part of the program, AIDA offers a series of courses on Artificial Intelligence and related fields given by distinguished lecturers (external ones or AIDA Lecturers from AIDA members).

We invite you to contribute to this initiative for the definition of the AIDA Summer / Fall semester program.

You can participate in the AIDA program by offering new or opening-up existing courses targeted to AIDA students or other students worldwide according to the participation terms of your own organization. Short/Very Short course formats (5-16 hours) are typically encouraged, while tutorials, semester courses, or asynchronous mode web courses will be considered as well, as can be seen in https://www.i-aida.org/. Accepted courses will be listed on AIDA website ( <https://www.i-aida.org/> https://www.i-aida.org/) and will be advertised for free with the support of AIDA dissemination channels. These channels are very successful in boosting course registration, as it is exemplified in: https://www.i-aida.org/why-aida-courses/

AIDA course registrants may be

a. external ones (e.g., undergraduate/MSc/PhD students, postdoc researchers or professionals or AI enthusiasts from all over the world) and/or

b. AIDA Students (PhD students or post-doc researchers from AIDA Members).

The AIDA course or seasonal school proposal application form can be found in: https://www.i-aida.org/phd-studies/short-courses/
