Gather.town is back!

Gather.town will let you create and name your own avatar. Your avatar can walk around the beach at the virtual Tradewinds, play games near the tiki hut, or meet with others in one of the many seating areas.

Our virtual beach will remain open during the entire V-VSS. You can arrange to meet friends in advance, or check the list of current Gather.town participants at any given moment. Find someone you’d like to chat with and send them a message or just follow the path to their location.

V-VSS speakers are encouraged to head to Gather.town during the coffee breaks after their sessions for more discussions. VSS speakers are encouraged to attend one or more Gather.town coffee breaks to talk with participants about their work.
