We are recruiting to the position of a Senior Lecturer/Reader in Robotics
and Autonomous Systems. We are looking for a highly motivated,
research-focused individual who will contribute to leadership and in
expanding the Department’s research activities in the broad area of
robotics and autonomous systems. Appointment at Reader level depends on the
experience and the qualifications of the successful candidates.

The appointment will be based on the proven research track-record or
industrial experience of the candidates. We value research in all areas of
Robotics and Autonomous Systems. This is both with respect to research that
would bolster existing expertise or offers potential for interdisciplinary
activity with other areas both within and outside the University. We
welcome activity aligned with existing interdisciplinary research that we
conduct (see below) or expansion into new areas.

Please note that in terms of responsibilities and recognition, the position
of a Senior Lecturer/Reader in the UK is comparable to that of an Associate
