We are hiring postdoctoral research fellows to engage in conscious visual perception research in the Laboratory of Neural Dynamics of Visual Perception and Cognition at the International Center for Primate Brain Research (ICPBR).




The ICPBR, co-directed by Prof. Mu-Ming Poo and Prof. Nikos K. Logothetis, affiliated with the Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligence Technology (CEBSIT, http://english.cebsit.cas.cn/), the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shanghai is a newly established international research facility for conducting highest-level primate brain research. Here, Dr. Vishal Kapoor leads the Laboratory of Neural Dynamics of Visual Perception and Cognition (http://english.cebsit.cas.cn/lab/VishalKapoor/research/). The lab, established in late 2021, aims to combine psychophysical paradigms and behavior with state-of-the-art electrophysiological and computational approaches to study the neural basis of conscious visual perception and disambiguate these neural processes from those underlying cognition.
