Responsibilities: Duties primarily include research.
Specific Duties: Research in the frame of the project “Similarity Measurement of Visual Patterns in Written Artefacts” in the Cluster’s research field Artefact Profiling. This includes publications and further studies relating to the project, participation in the Cluster’s research activities, the organisation of scholarly events.
The applicant is expected to research, implement and test various deep-learning approaches and loss functions for different computer vision tasks such as classification, detection and clustering.
Requirements: A university degree in a relevant subject plus doctorate degree in computer vision.
In addition, a very good theoretical and practical knowledge in:
* machine learning
* deep learning
* computer vision algorithms
Preferred skills to have are:
* Tensorflow and Python
* ASP.NET and C#
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English is required.
