We are keen to encourage submissions to our special issue in MDPI Vision ""Cybervision: Investigating Vision and Visual Cognition through Web-Based Studies".

The last couple of years have seen a remarkable development in the use of online research in vision science, accelerated by the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic. This move to internet-mediated vision science presents a number of challenges to scientists who are used to exerting a high degree of control in the lab. It also presents great opportunities in terms of the size and diversity of samples. The idea of the Special Issue is to bring together web-based studies of vision and visual cognition to better understand how scholars have adapted to this new paradigm, and what successes (and failures!) there have been in translating research from the lab to the virtual world.
We are keen to attract high quality experimental work / review papers and MDPI have agreed to a number of APC waivers for these submissions. MDPI Vison CiteScore has recently increased to 2.1 and is a great venue for showcasing this research.
Papers may be submitted from now until 1 October 2022 as papers will be published on an ongoing basis. Submitted papers should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
