*Description*
The Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Arts and Science at New York
University invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track or tenured
position in Cognitive Neuroscience. The position is intended for junior
candidates but in exceptional circumstances senior candidates will be
considered. The appointment is expected to begin September 1, 2023, pending
budgetary and administrative approval. We seek applicants with an
outstanding record of research in human cognitive neuroscience, broadly
construed. Preference will be given to applicants whose program of research
includes advanced measurement techniques and computational approaches to
understanding the neural mechanisms of behavior.

*Compensation:*
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range
for this position is $90,000 - $150,000. New York University considers
factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the
position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills,
internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations
when extending an offer.
