[visionlist] Fully funded PhD position in Computer Graphics/HCI (XR Environments) - Sweden

We have a fully funded PhD position in the area of computer graphics/human-computer interaction at Blekinge Institute of Technology, Karlskrona, Sweden. The Ph.D. position is part of a new national research project "Human-Centered Intelligent Realities (HINTS)" which is being carried out together with six industrial partners and is externally funded by the Knowledge Foundation.  In co-production with our corporate partners and the community, we develop concepts, principles, methods, algorithms, and tools for human-centered intelligent realities, to lead the way for future immersive, user-aware, and smart interactive digital environments. The project is divided into five separate Research Themes (A-E) which collaborate within the framework of sub-projects. More details are available here: https://a.bth.se/hints/

 The doctoral position in this call will primarily be involved in Research Theme B.



The focus of this employment is to develop novel virtual environments and human-computer interaction (HCI) techniques for future intelligent realities, i.e. immersive extended realities (XR) integrated with artificial intelligence (AI). The main focus of this position lies in the field of computer graphics and HCI. Candidates with a background in computer graphics/HCI/gaming are encouraged to apply.
