[visionlist] Postdoctoral scientist position with Steve Mitroff & Dwight Kravitz at GWU

Announcing a postdoctoral scientist position in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences at The George Washington University to work with Drs. Stephen Mitroff and Dwight Kravitz. The project will be funded through a cooperative agreement with the US Army Research Laboratory, which means the GWU team will work with US Army collaborators towards the achievement of jointly developed scientific objectives. The research involves a breadth of research techniques, including big data, online data collection, and experimental paradigm creation. The theoretical focus is on how human cognition and individual differences in cognition will impact the mutually adaptive interactions between humans and advanced intelligent technologies in military settings. Knowledge of vision and attention research and programming ability are required (MATLAB/Psychtoolbox experience preferred). The position is for two years with the possibility of more.

The start date is July 1, 2023, with flexibility.
