Dear all,

There is a postdoc opening in the lab of Prof. Bianca van Kemenade at the
Justus Liebig University Gießen, Germany. The position can be filled as
soon as possible and is funded until December 2025.

This is a DFG funded position on action and perception. In particular, the
project will investigate the influence of action on visual perception and
neural processing in visual cortex using fMRI (including MVPA and
retinotopic mapping) and behavioural methods. We’re looking for someone
with a PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or cognitive science (or a related
field), fMRI experience, as well as good programming skills.

This project is part of the SFB/TRR135, a large collaboration of many labs
in Marburg and Giessen (https://www.sfb-perception.de/index-en/).
Furthermore, the lab is affiliated with the research consortium “The
Adaptive Mind” (http://www.theadaptivemind.de/). You will thus be part of a
vibrant research environment with a supportive atmosphere and plenty of
opportunities for collaboration and training!
