The research group of Dr. Hsin-Hung Li at the Ohio State University has opening positions at multiple levels. The lab aims to understand the neural and computational basis of cognitive functions including decision-making, metacognition, working memory and top-down modulations on vision (webpage https://www.hsinhungli.com/).


Ph.D. students

We are recruiting Ph.D. students (starting fall 2024) who are passionate in research in the field of computational cognitive neuroscience or cognitive science. Candidates with pre-doc research experience in related fields are preferred. Postdoctoral position

Qualified candidates should have or expect to receive a doctoral degree (in cognitive science, psychology, neuroscience, computer science or related fields) before getting on board. Candidates with expertise in any one of the following techniques are preferred: computational modeling, machine learning/deep learning, neuroimaging (fMRI/EEG), behavioral measurements (psychophysics or online data collections). Compensations will follow NIH (NRSA) scale, but with room for adjustment based on expertise. Initial appointment is for one year, with flexible start date (early or mid 2024 preferred) and opportunity for renewal.
