Dear All,

We are pleased to invite you to register and submit an abstract<https://iop-london.msgfocus.com/c/1eWMMU7BGjVNTATbeAIkh1E9a06> for the Optics for the Eye event, taking place on 29 November 2023 at the Institute of Physics, London, UK. The meeting will be hybrid (but not recorded) so please do join us via Zoom if you are not in the UK.

Optical technologies have been revolutionary for ophthalmic imaging and instruments such as Optical Coherence Tomography systems have become crucial clinical diagnostic tools. Development of new instrumentation for the eye is paving the way for more precise measures of vision and eye health. These advancements are providing access to new biomarkers of sight-threatening conditions and are gaining traction as means of studying systemic diseases that have secondary effects in the retina.

This one-day meeting brings together developers of optical technologies for the eye to discuss UK developments in ophthalmic imaging and its range of applications. The meeting is open to academics, clinicians and industry representatives and we particularly encourage early career researchers to submit abstracts to present their work.
The event is suitable for everyone from all backgrounds, whether you are a practicing physicist or if you have an interest in the subject and would like to know more. Please click on the link below to register before the 22 November 2023.
