[visionlist] International Pupil Colloquium 2024 - Save the dates (July 20 - 22nd 2024)

Dear all: It is an absolute pleasure  for me to share that the 34th
International
Pupil Colloquium (IPC) will be held at the L V Prasad Eye Institute in
Hyderabad, India from the *20**th to 22nd **July 2024* (Saturday through
Monday). This physical meeting is focused on all aspects of research and
technology development pertaining to the pupils and is expected to see
delegates from a wide range of disciplines including clinical
ophthalmology/optometry/neurology/emergency medicine/sports medicine,
visual neuroscience, optics, cognitive science and developmental biology.
This meeting started off as an informal discussion between Prof. Larry
Stark at MIT and Profs. Otto Lowenstein and Irene Loewenfeld at New York in
the early 1980's (https://sites.google.com/site/pupilcolloq/history). Since
then, this meeting has grown leaps and bounds, travelled all over the
world, ending up in Murcia, Spain in 2019 (
https://lo.um.es/33rd-international-pupil-colloquium/). After a COVID-19
related hiatus of 3 years, the 2024 edition of this meeting will be held at
the L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India. The core group is starting
to work on the conference website, scientific program and associated
activities and you will hear more from us in the next 2 - 3 week's time. In
the meantime, please block your dates to attend this meeting.

Attached is the one-page flyer for this meeting that can be disseminated to
your colleagues/students.
