[visionlist] [Postdoc opportuity]: Two years postdoc at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Germany

We would like to advertise an upcoming postdoc position at the institute of experimental psychology in the faculty of mathematics and natural sciences in the Heinrich Heine University, Düsseldorf (Germany).
 
Research topics cover all domains we are interested in, including all aspects of interactions between movements and perception, perceptual consequences of voluntary movements (e.g. sensory attenuation), motor intentions and time perception. We use psychophysical methods, eye tracking, virtual reality / motion tracking and to a lesser extent EEG recordings. Requirements for the position are:
- Candidates must hold a master’s degree in psychology, biology or related disciplines and a PhD in one of the above disciplines.
- Candidates should have an interest in problems of perceptual psychology with a good knowledge of basic psychology and psychological methods.
 
The duration of the contract is 2 years, and the pay scale grouping will be, depending on the personal qualification of the applicants, up to salary scale 13 TV-L.

Deadline for application is January 31st, and the candidate is expected to start working no later than April 1st 2024.

The position is a qualification position in the sense of the Act of Academic Fixed-Term Contract (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz – WissZeitVG), which is to promote the scientific qualification of the employees. Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf aims at increasing the percentage of employed women.
