The Medina Lab <http://www.jaredmedina.com> in the Department of Psychology
<https://psychology.emory.edu/home/index.html> at Emory University is
seeking a postdoctoral researcher. Our lab examines how we combine
information from the senses to perceive our bodies, and how perceptual
processes and their underlying neural representations are altered
subsequent to brain damage. Our research uses a variety of techniques
including cognitive neuropsychological studies, functional neuroimaging,
transcranial magnetic stimulation, and psychophysical/behavioral methods.
Our lab has access to multiple 3T and one 7T scanner, transcranial magnetic
stimulation, and brain-damaged individuals active in research.

The postdoctoral researcher will take a lead role in designing and
implementing studies using some of the above techniques. Topics include
sensorimotor plasticity, multisensory integration, perceptual illusions,
embodiment, touch and proprioception. The initial appointment is for one
year, renewal expected if progress is satisfactory and funds are available.

We strongly encourage potential applicants to contact Dr. Medina (
jared.medina at emory.edu) before applying. Each applicant should submit a
CV/Resume, a cover letter (including a summary of current work) and contact
information for three references.

Review of applications will begin on *Friday, February 16th* and will
continue until filled.
