LECTURER POSITION IN PSYCHOLOGICAL SCIENCE AT RPI

The Department of Cognitive Science in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute invites applicants for a non-tenure track position in the Psychological Science program starting in Fall 2024.

Experience in undergraduate-level teaching is strongly preferred. We seek a scholar who will collaborate with departmental colleagues to expand course offerings and research in areas including introductory courses, sensation and perception, cognitive neuroscience, behavioral neuroscience, and learning.  The Cognitive Science Department offers B.S. undergraduate programs in Psychological Science, Cognitive Science, and Philosophy, and M.S. and Ph.D. graduate programs in Cognitive Science.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in psychology or a closely related field at the time of appointment. Candidates must also possess evidence of effective teaching, and the ability to demonstrate, through accomplishment, promise of academic, scholarly and/or research achievement.
