The Visual Cognition Lab, directed by Dr. Michelle Greene

Psychology at Barnard

We investigate the time course of visual perception using behavioral, EEG,
and computational methods. The lab is seeking applications for a full-time
lab manager. The Lab Manager's role will support a five-year grant funded
by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to investigate the role of
information overload in visual scene understanding. The project integrates
natural scene statistics, psychophysics, and EEG methods. The Lab Manager
will support the PI and work with undergraduate researchers. The position
is expected to be renewed on a 12-month basis for four years, dependent
upon performance. The start date is flexible, but preferably Summer 2024.

This is a great position for a recent college graduate who would like to
gain further experience in a full-time research setting before applying to
graduate school. A two-year commitment is highly preferred.  The position
is not appropriate for those with advanced degrees.
