We are delighted to announce a special issue in MDPI Vision "Perceptual Experience and the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Vision Research." This special issue aims to explore the intricate relationship between perceptual experience and the advancements in artificial intelligence within the realm of vision research.
This special issue offers a unique opportunity for researchers to contribute original research articles, reviews, and perspectives exploring various aspects of perceptual experience and the intersection with artificial intelligence in vision research. We encourage submissions that delve into topics such as computational neuroscience, virtual reality, 3D vision, sensory perception in visual impairments, multisensory perception, and machine learning applications.
This special issue draws inspiration from discussions held at the Scottish Vision Group 2024 annual meeting, particularly focusing on the theme of perceptual experience and the impact of AI on vision research. We encourage submissions that expand upon topics covered during the meeting, as well as contributions from external researchers.
Guest editors for this special issue are Prof. Paul Hibbard, Dr. Jordi M. Asher, Dr. Ross Goutcher, and Dr. Aysha Motala,
Submission Deadline: 30 September 2024
