FINAL CALL FOR LATE BREAKING ABSTRACTS
Dear Colleagues,
The 33rd Center for Visual Science Symposium
<https://www.cvs.rochester.edu/symposium/index.html> will be held August 15
th – 17th, 2024 in Rochester, NY. This year the symposium will focus on
the topic of *Imaging and Modulation of Neural Activity in the Eye and
Brain in vivo*. We have put together a great lineup of speakers with
experts in calcium imaging, optogenetics, label free methods, functional
ultrasound, adaptive optics, viral vector development, vision restoration
and more! *The final deadline for late breaking abstracts is **July 15th*
*2024.* Applications for travel fellowships are still being accepted.
*The symposium offers a generous stipend for Young Investigators (e.g.,
students, postdocs, and others) to defray travel expenses and registration.
*
Our program highlights not only the latest technical advances in
neuroimaging and neuromodulation, but also new discoveries made using these
approaches, with the aim of encouraging wider understanding and adoption of
these techniques.
In addition to having an exciting scientific program, the conference will
hold several fun events for socializing and professional development
including ‘meet-the-experts’ lunches, one-on-one mentoring with established
faculty, and a networking reception.
The conference dinner event will be held at a winery
