SMASH MSCA program offers 2-year full-time fellowship which includes 
travel grants and research visits at partner research institutions. The 
program will fund high-quality postdoctoral projects in a few selected

The postdoc will work at the Visual Cognitive Systems Laboratory, 
University of Ljubljana, Slovenia , under supervision of prof. Matej

The topics of interest are here

fundamental research in deep learning and computer vision as well as 
novel applications of machine learning in classical scientific problems. 
Examples:
* Perception methods for autonomous drones (surface/underwater), such as 
scene understanding, language-based querying and referral vision, 
grounded detection and tracking.
* Vision-Language Models for Science
* Extreme weather prediction and analysis

*Qualifications:*
-------------------
* Phd in Computer science/ Electrical engineering / Physics
* Strong background in modern deep learning
* Proficiency in Python/PyTorch
* Good publication track record in Computer Vision or Machine Learning 
(major CV/ML conferences or journals)
