Dear Visionlist:
RIT is seeking two new faculty colleagues in our growing Neuroscience undergraduate program.
We need a tenure-track, research-oriented Assistant Professor who can engage undergraduates in research and teach both fundamental and specialized neuroscience topics. While we are open to any specializations, we are especially interested in human-focused visual and/or computational neuroscience. We will expect this faculty member to secure external funding to support their research portfolio and thrive in a diverse environment in terms of disciplines and backgrounds. They will have the opportunity to work with PhD students in our Color Science and Cognitive Science programs, if that suits their research.

Additionally, we need a teaching faculty Lecturer who can teach a variety of undergraduate courses, most importantly neurobiology. We seek an enthusiastic educator who is capable of engaging a diverse student population.

RIT’s Neuroscience BS (https://www.rit.edu/study/neuroscience-bs) is a joint program between the Integrated Sciences Academy, an interdisciplinary department in the College of Science, and Psychology, in the College of Liberal Arts. The ISA also hosts RIT’s internationally-known Color Science graduate program and several Minor programs, and is a partner in the Cognitive Science PhD program.
Please feel free to reply with questions or apply directly via the links above!
Kind regards,
Mike
