invite applications for three visiting leave-replacement positions at the
rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2025 (PhD or ABD required).
Ideal candidates will have teaching experience at the college level and be
enthusiastic about working closely with undergraduate students. Candidates
from all areas are encouraged to apply, and we especially seek candidates
with expertise in developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, and
neuroscience. All positions are for one year; the position in neuroscience
has the possibility of renewal for a second year. The teaching load will be
the equivalent of five courses per year, including some combination of
foundational courses (e.g., Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to

specialty area, and supervision of senior research projects. The expected
9-month base salary range for this position is $76,000 to $78,500. We seek
candidates who can demonstrate their experience teaching or working with
diverse student populations. Your cover letter should address the ways in
which your teaching, scholarship, and/or service would engage and sustain
Hamilton’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
