Project Description:
This project aims to clarify the adaptive mechanisms of the visual system
of lizards in relation to their ecology and natural history. Applicants
must hold a PhD obtained within the last five years in biological sciences
or related fields, with an emphasis on animal behavior. Priority will be
given to candidates with prior experience in herpetology and histological
techniques, as well as experience in data analysis and manuscript
preparation.

The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Postdoctoral Fellowship with a
monthly scholarship of R$ 12,000.00 and an additional Research Overhead
equivalent to 10% of the annual scholarship amount to cover unforeseen
expenses directly related to research activities.
