The year 2025 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance. To mark this occasion, the editorial team has curated a series of reviews, editorial perspectives, and personal reflections that will be appearing in each issue throughout 2025.

In January 2025<https://psycnet.apa.org/PsycARTICLES/journal/xhp/51/1>, we kick off the anniversary series with Editors’ perspectives by Michael Posner, David Rosenbaum, and Isabel Gauthier, who each share their views on the journal’s past 50 years and its future 50+ years.
