Dear all,

Two postdoc positions are currently being advertised for people to work on our project investigating eye-movement based markers of fatigue. This is a 3-year, collaborative project funded by the BBSRC Prosperity Partnership and working with medical AI company Solvemed.

One of the posts is focused on machine-learning. The postdoc will be responsible for designing and implementing new advanced analytics from large datasets where we record eye movement signals from a smartphone camera.

The other post is focused on human testing. The postdoc will help run large-scale experiments and manage remote testing of our new technology. Previous experience of eyetracking/pupilometry and both in-person and online experiments will be important.

Both positions will be based in the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at the University of Essex in Colchester, UK. You will work closely with an international team including colleagues in the Department of Psychology and at Oxford and Stanford. The University of Essex is based on an award-winning parkland campus in Colchester, a small, affordable city less than an hour from London. With best wishes,
