We are delighted to announce an exciting interdisciplinary PhD opportunity at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK, available as either a 3.5-year (PhD + placement) or 1+3.5-year (Masters + PhD + placement) studentship.  Funded by the Scottish Graduate School of Social Science (SGSSS), this studentship will commence in October 2025.

Project highlights:

  *   Combine psycholinguistics & human-computer interaction.
  *   Develop innovative gaze-based reading technologies.
  *   Explore novel paradigms for text representation.
  *   Utilize advanced eye-tracking and adaptive text presentation methods.
  *   Interdisciplinary supervision by Dr Sara Sereno (Psychology & Neuroscience) and Dr Mohamed Khamis (Computing Science).
  *   Full-time/Part-time study options available.
  *   Open to UK and international students
