Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2025 ACM Symposium on
Eye Tracking Research & Applications (ETRA), which will be held in Tokyo,
Japan from May 26 to May 29, 2025.

*ABOUT ETRA 2025*

The ACM Symposium on Eye Tracking Research & Applications (ETRA) brings
together researchers and practitioners from diverse fields with the common
goal of advancing eye tracking research and its applications. The
conference provides an excellent opportunity to share knowledge, discuss
innovations, and establish collaborations in this dynamic field.

*VENUE*

The conference will be held at Miraikan - The National Museum of Emerging
Science and Innovation in Tokyo, Japan. The venue is easily accessible via
a 4-minute walk from "Telecom Center station" or a 5-minute walk from
"Tokyo International Cruise Terminal station".

*KEYNOTE SPEAKERS*

We are honored to feature distinguished keynote speakers:

   - *Dr. Yukie Nagai* (Project Professor, The University of Tokyo): Title:
   "How People See the World: An Embodied Predictive Processing Theory". Dr.
   Nagai will introduce a neuro-inspired theory of human visual perception
   based on embodied predictive processing, exploring how sensorimotor
   learning drives the development of visual perception and attention.
   - *Dr. Jean-Marc Odobez* (IDIAP & EPFL Senior researcher, Head of the
   Perception and Activity Understanding group): Dr. Odobez is a leading
   expert in multimodal perception systems and the co-founder of Eyeware SA, a
   company specializing in eye tracking and attention modeling.

*REGISTRATION*

Registration is now open with the following rates:

*Standard Registration (Before May 7):*

   - ACM Member - Student: JPY57,000
   - ACM Member - Professional: JPY113,000
   - Non-Member - Student: JPY62,000
   - Non-Member - Professional: JPY141,000



*One-day Registration:*

   - Student: JPY20,000
   - Professional: JPY40,000

Full conference registration includes access to all technical sessions,
workshops, tutorials, welcome reception, lunches, refreshments, and one
banquet ticket for the dinner cruise on May 28.

*IMPORTANT NOTES*

   - ETRA 2025 is intended to be an in-person conference with no separate
   virtual attendance option.
   - At least one author of each accepted paper must attend and present in
   person.
   - Each accepted paper (full, short, LBW papers, and doctoral consortium)
   must be covered by a professional or student full-conference registration
   by one of the authors.
   - Accepted workshop papers require a one-day registration specifically
   for the day of the workshop.
