Colleagues of William Levick and subscribers to CVnet or Visionlist might like to be aware of this recently published biography of Bill in the Biographical Memoirs of Fellows of the Royal Society (open access).

The memoir includes a supplementary video of Bill’s laboratory demonstration of the behavior of a directionally-selective retinal ganglion cell.
