[visionlist] Potential postdoc opportunity for talented non-EU researcher in Norway - Perception/road safety/VR/EEG

Are you a talented  non-EU researcher looking for a post-doc opportunity in Norway, with a background in visual perception, road safety, VR, EEG or similar?

I would like to get in touch with candidates  could contribute to an ongoing project investigating the mechanisms underlying a recently discovered visual illusion called  "the illusion of absence", as well as its potential role in road accidents using behavioral methods, VR, and EEG. We have a unique opportunity to apply for  funding of three-year post-doc from the Research Council of Norway on the basis of a programme called  Recruitment of Talented Researchers to Norway (https://www.forskningsradet.no/en/call-for-proposals/2025/recruitment-talented-researchers-norway/), but since the funding is awareded on a first-come, first-served basis, I need to get in touch with potentially interested candidates quickly in order to file a (very short) proposal.

As you can see from the call, "The background for the scheme is the difficult situation that many researchers and institutions are now experiencing globally. The aim of the scheme is for Norwegian research organisations to have a special opportunity to recruit talented international researchers who can establish themselves in Norway, thus contributing to raising the quality and academic added value of the research communities with which the researcher will be associated."

Also note that potential candidates cannot live in or be employed at institutions within the Council of Europe's definition of Europe (46 Member States of the Council of Europe - Portal). Russia is also excluded from the scheme.
