Dear Colleagues,
We are thrilled to announce a unique addition to the ICIAP 2025 program: ICIAP Night Vision, a special event dedicated to the fusion of AI, art, and music!
Join us on the evening of September 18, 2025, at the iconic Circolo degli Illuminati in Rome for a sunset aperitivo, an outdoor screening of generative art, and a party celebrating our community's creativity.
The centerpiece of this event is two exciting creative competitions. We invite you to participate and showcase your skills.

Challenge 1: AI-Video Generation
In collaboration with Live Cinema Festival, ItalAI & TrueSound AI
Outdoor Screening & Awards – September @ Circolo degli Illuminati, Rome
AI x Creativity Contest – Final submission by August 31, 2025
Have you ever wanted to make AI-generated visuals dance to music? Your mission is to develop a custom AI-based video generation model to create a visual that accompanies one of the official audio tracks provided. No manual editing—just pure algorithmic imagination.
Each team is required to submit a video generated with their own AI-based model, in sync with one of the official music tracks provided, and a brief technical report to describe the developed model.
Optionally, you can also submit a draft version of the AI-generated video by August 10, 2025 to receive early artistic feedback from a panel of experts.

  *   Prize: The top-ranked team will be awarded during the main ICIAP 2025 Awards Ceremony.
  *   Showcase: All accepted videos will be screened during a sunset aperitivo event at the Circolo degli Illuminati, accompanied by music and networking.
Timeline

  *   Optional draft submission (for feedback): August 10, 2025
  *   Final submission deadline: August 31, 2025
  *   Screening & Awards: September 18, 2025 (during ICIAP social events)

Challenge 2: Live VJ-ing

Audiovisual Performance Contest – September 18 @ Circolo degli Illuminati, Rome
With live DJ set + audience voting + real-time visuals
Do you have what it takes to light up the dancefloor with your visuals? ICIAP 2025 invites you to step on stage and perform your live visual set in sync with a DJ during the official ICIAP 2025 party.

Selected participants will be part of a live VJ set, accompanying the music of a professional DJ performing on stage.
Your goal: create visuals live, in real time, that move with the music, surprise the audience, and show off your skills.
The contest will be judged in a unique way:

  *   50% Jury vote – international experts from visual arts, academia, and live performance
  *   50% Audience vote – live voting via QR code or link during the event
This challenge will be one of the highlights of the ICIAP 2025 night event on September 18 at Circolo degli Illuminati.
Timeline

  *   Application deadline: August 31, 2025
  *   Mentoring sessions: Early September 2025
  *   Live contest: September 18, 2025 @ Circolo degli Illuminati, Rome
