We invite proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with WACV
2026, which will take place in person in Tucson, Arizona. Workshops are
scheduled for March 6 and 7, 2026.
Workshops should focus on topics related to computer vision and its
applications, as well as interdisciplinary themes, emerging challenges,
or community-building initiatives. Proposals that explore novel
application areas or foster collaborations between computer vision and
other scientific domains are especially encouraged.
Workshop organizers will have significant autonomy over the format,
style, and content of their sessions. They will be responsible for:
Managing the workshop's technical program; Inviting expert speakers; and
Maintaining a dedicated workshop website.
All workshop*organizers and presenters must participate in person*.
Virtual workshops or remote presentations will not be accommodated.
Accepted workshops will be held on either* 6 March 2026* or *7 March 2026*.
Submission Guidelines
Workshop proposals must follow the official template (availableHere
<https://media.eventhosts.cc/Conferences/WACV2026/WorkshopProposalTemplate_WACV_2026.zip>)
and must not exceed three (3) pages, including all content. Proposals
exceeding the page limit may be rejected without review.*Upon
acceptance, organizers are required to launch a public workshop website
within one week of notification.*The website must include:
* Call for Papers (CFP)
* Submission instructions
* Important dates
* Program details
* Contact information
* Clarity on whether accepted papers will be published in the WACV
2026 proceedings
Workshop proposals should be submitted in the form of a single PDF
through OpenReview: https://openreview.net/group?id=thecvf.com/WACV/2026
We especially welcome workshops that aim to strengthen or establish new
communities within the field of computer vision.
Proposals will be evaluated by the workshop chairs and conference
organizers, with an eye towards selecting high-quality workshops on a
diverse set of topics that will inform and inspire the community.
Broadening Participationn
We especially encourage proposals involving diverse organizing teams and
communities currently under-represented at WACV. We also welcome
workshop topics that address issues in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
in Computer Vision applications.
Registration for Workshop Attendees
All participants at WACV workshops, including organizers and invited
speakers, must be registered attendees. Accepted workshops will be
allocated 2 full (i.e., workshop plus main conference) and 1
workshop-only registration passport.
