*Overview*
The Physical Retail AI workshop in WACV 2026 connects researchers and
practitioners interested in the way computer vision is shaping the world
of retail. We are now accepting paper submissions and challenge
participants.
_About the Physical Retail AI Workshop_:
This is the 3rd installment of the Physical Retail AI Workshop, which
focuses on the unique challenges and opportunities that arise when
applying computer vision and machine learning to the physical retail
domain. This is the 3rd year of the workshop in WACV, building on top of
successes in WACV 2025 and WACV 2024. In this year, we have new
collaboration between*Amazon* and*Standard AI*, where we*co-organize the
workshop and share 2 public datasets, namely the**Grocery Vision
<https://grocery-vision.github.io/overview.html>** dataset from Amazon,
as well as the**RetailAction
<https://huggingface.co/datasets/standard-cognition/RetailAction>** dataset
from Standard AI*. And we have*3 challenges to participate in Grocery
Vision Challenge (GV26)*. See details for challenge section.
_About the Grocery Vision Challenge (GV26)_
The Grocery Vision Challenge is a yearly challenge, aims to bring
together computer vision and AI scientists from both academic and
industry backgrounds, focusing on pioneering advancements in physical
retail AI, particularly within the grocery sector. In 2026, we will have
3 tracks of challenges:
* *Track 1: Shopping Cart Video Temporal Action Localization (SC-TAL)
and Spatial Temporal Action Localization (SC-STAL)*
* *Track 2: Multi-modal Product Retrieval (MPR)*.
* *Track 3: Top-View Spatial Temporal Action Localization (TV-STAL) -

The GV challenges were organized in WACV24 (part of 1st Physical Retail
AI Workshop), CVPR 2024 (part of RetailVision workshop), WACV 2025 (part
of 2nd Physical Retail AI workshop), and ICCV 2025 (part of RetailVision
workshop). See more details:https://grocery-vision.github.io
