[visionlist] Postdoctoral Position Available in Anderson Lab

Applications are invited for a postdoc position in the lab of Brian Anderson at Texas A&M University, focusing on MRI approaches to learning and attention. The position will be supported by institutional funds held by the PI. Dr. Anderson serves as Director of the Human Imaging Facility and Interim Executive Director of the Human Clinical Research Facility at Texas A&M University, and this position is intended to contribute to the biomedical imaging enterprise that he oversees.

Competitive applicants will have a strong publication record that includes more than one first-author paper involving fMRI, with the experience to independently move fMRI projects forward from conceptualization to completion. Given that the position is supported through institutional funds, the research to be conducted in association with this position is open and constrained only by mutual interest. Candidates with broader biomedical imaging and cognitive neuroscience expertise will have access to the range of instrumentation that the two aforementioned facilities house, including TMS, CT, and ultrasound, as well as an EEG system housed in the Anderson Lab.

Dr. Anderson oversees several academic-industry partnerships, and candidates interested in exploring this space will have access to opportunities to contribute to those efforts and learn what it is like to conduct research that simultaneously addresses basic and applied questions.
