workshops to be held in conjunction with the main conference.
*AVSS 2026 will take place in the beautiful baroque city of Lecce, Italy*.
*Workshops will be held on August 31, 2026, the day before the main
conference program begins (September 1-3)*. They aim to explore in-depth
specific challenges and emerging topics in visual and signal-based
systems, fostering a dynamic environment for discussion and community
building.
We encourage the submission of workshop proposals on new,
interdisciplinary, or application-oriented topics that bridge advances
in multimedia and signal-based systems research with other research areas.
*Scope and Topics*
We welcome proposals on all topics related to visual and signal-based
systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Sensor-Centric Topics: Smart Cameras, Deep Learning at the Edge,
Multi-modal Sensors, IoT for Surveillance.
Processing-Centric Topics: Action & Activity Recognition, Anomaly
Detection, Person & Object Re-identification, Multi-target Tracking,
